FISHERMAN'S PRAYER

God grant that I may fish until my dying day!  And when it comes to my last cast
that I humbly pray, when in God's landing net I'm peacefully asleep that in his
mercy I be judged "GOOD ENOUGH TO KEEP!"

2008 State Qualifiers

Please post the following
THIS IS FROM PHILLIP SAIN NC BASS FEDERATION STATE PRESIDNET
The 2008 State Championship will be held on Lake Gaston. The Regional Directors will be mailing out entry forms to those
who qualified.
Please read the entry forms carefully. August 1  is the deadline for these forms to be in the hands of the Tournament
director, so you need to send them to your Regional by the date that he specifies. They MUST be in the possession of the
Regional Director on this date. Failure to do so will result in you not being able to fish.
There are to be NO BOATS IN THE PARKING LOT of the registration meeting site. You WILL be disqualified or fined if
this occurs.Parking will be limited.
There is to be ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL, NO SMOKING and NO TOBACCO PRODUCT used at the registration
location. This is a public school and this is strictly prohibited. Violators will be disqualified or fined.
Fines are substantial.
I am posting expectations now so that there is absolutely not question as to what is expected and what the outcome will be
if you do not comply. If anyone cannot accept or comply with these requirements, let us know now so that you can be
replaced.
Code of Conduct:
This is a North Carolina Bass Federation, Inc./TBF event. therefore the following applies:
1.  No open containers at the motel or any other function hosted by the Federation or TBF.
2.  Boaters who chose to drink in their rooms will not be allowed to fish if alcohol is detectable at the time any fishing event
begins.(this voids insurance and makes you personally responsible, not to mention putting another life at risk and bringing
disgrace to our Federation).
3.  There will be no use of Profanity in public areas during a Federation event. If you have issues, you need to come to
Wayne Stell or Phillip Sain and discuss them in a calm, adult manner. Should you chose to become threatening and
argumentative in an aggressive manner, you will be asked to leave immediately and may be ejected from the Federation.
Workers are there to assist, they are volunteers and do not deserve to be cursed, threatened or yelled at. THIS WILL NOT
BE TOLERATED.
4.  Wearing of Federation Nation Logos (hats, shirts, etc.) during a North Carolina Bass Federation, Inc./TBF function will
result in immediate and unquestioned DISQUALIFICATION. This does include Youth events. This is for now and all
Federation Events.
Sportsmanship is expected form all of you - this includes the way in which you conduct yourself on and off of the water.
Bringing disgrace to our Federation will get you a one way ticket out of our Federation.
There is no more $20.00 non-boater fee. Due to the rising cost of fuel this is not reasonable.
Boaters should arrive with a full boat, full vehicle and receipts for such. Non-boater will travel to and from the events with
the Boater. Expenses for this should be split, when the boater fills up at the end of the day.
Should you have questions regarding these instructions, contact your Regional Director.

Have a safe trip - Looking forward to seeing you in October
